LIKELIHOOD OF SHOCK OCCURRING

Friends of Franklin County:

Oncor enables implementation of plans for blanketing our lands with solar panels and destroying our landscapes with wind turbines. Broad easements are being recorded to allow construction of huge towers described as "high voltage."

These easements now show proposed 200 to 300 foot wide clearances planned to stretch from near our airport north across the Sulphur River, and east-west from Titus County over to Hopkins County through White Oak Bottom; and from south Franklin County north toward Daphne and then to Highway 71 through forests and fields. The high voltage lines carry about 345 volts or even more voltage.

See the information sheet below regarding electrical shocks we can expect from high voltage lines. AEP released this data since we are in their area of service. Unfortunately for us, Oncor will serve Dallas and charge Dallas customers for transmission fees but we have to live with the threat of shocks.
